Inna Rude Mood: Sounds

Inna Rude Mood

(Inna Rude Mood)
November, 2003
Scott Carlson
Scott wrote this signature tune to memorialize one drunken night that he spent in jail while attending college at Tufts University.
I woke up in jail with no one to blame
Did some things last night I’d like to reframe
I want you to know, it’s not bad attitude, uh huh
I only do what I’ve done, when I’m in a rude mood

Heard my neighbor’s house rockin’, hot people and cold beer
I didn’t bother knockin’ to spread my good cheer
My neighbor should know, I don’t always intrude, uh huh
I only do what I’ve done, when I’m in a rude mood

Well I drank until I could drink no more
Propositioned pretty women hoping to score
They all should know, I’m not usually this crude, uh huh
I only do what I’ve done, when I’m in a rude mood

LEAD BREAK

Well my neighbor called the cops, they burst into the place
Tried to calm me down, then sprayed all their mace
The cops should know, I don’t seek to feud, uh huh
I only do what I’ve done, when I’m in a rude mood

So now you’ve heard my whole pathetic tale
Please show pity and post my bail
Cause my cellmate sure knows, I’m no bad ass dude, uh huh
I only do what I’ve done, when I’m in a rude mood

How much longer am I going to have to keep my back to this cell wall?
