- A rare sight indeed, a hot bass player who sings lead vocals.

2008 July 4th Ventura Street Fair
- IRM gets down at Ventura's 2008 July 4th Street Festival

- Ruben's #1 fan (after Melissa & Amy, that is) boogies down the street!

- Ruben hoping Scott doesn't knock him upside the head with his guitar neck.

- The Street Fair Stage, a mix of IRM's bose equipment and traditional sound system.

- "Let's give a hand to couple's number one, two and three."

- "Ruben, put your shirt back on, you're going to drive the women crazy with that chest hair."

- "Yes, my girlfriend is taking the pictures so I'm in at least 1/3rd of them rather than being left out in the cold like most drummers."

- A special visit from Captain Fantastic gracing the fair with his/her presence.

- "When I'm not tending bar at The Star Lounge, I enjoy grooving in the streets of Ventura with my shirtless boyfriend. Don't even ask how I earned these beads around my neck."

- Let me demonstrate how to do the funky chicken dance. First you need to raise up your arms like a chicken and then you...

- "I wouldn't be caught dead doing the funiy chicken, but it's a great dance for you to do."

- Since I'm wireless, I think I'll just mosey on down off the stage and check out the common people in the street.

- It's difficult to imagine that this guy was also spotted in the OR of Community Memorial.

- Ruben's many fans giving him the adulation that he always seems to believe that he truly has earned and deserves.

- Maggi giving the clap to the huge audience which IRM's official photographer never got off her butt and took a picture of from the back side of the stage.

- If we know Maggi, and we think we do know this creature of habit, this is the start to "You Shook Me All Night Long."

- Scott to Maggi "Check out my intense guitar hero pose." Maggi to Scott, "You think that's a guitar hero pose, my son can play along to the guitar hero game while flipping his guitar for extra points."

- "DIdn't I tell you that I was going to be in alot of pictures, and all I have to do is stare at Melissa and whisper to her how much I love her. She reads lips you know."

- What is Randy doing trying to put the moves on Dirty Marie's main squeeze? I don't know but she better stay clear of the Star Lounge.

- Did we say that this man (who arrived and left with Marie) was the life of the party and it was only noon?

- This looks to me as if someone is playing the intro to "Sweet Child of Mine" and attempting Axyl's snake dance. Either that, or it's early onset scoliosis.

- Yes, I've finally accepted that aging eyes require reading glasses because my arms are not long enough to see the newspaper clearly.

- In Mexico, they would call this the running of the bulls across the stage. Yet in Ventura, it's the final crescendo of IRM's last song when Scott does his best Angus Young interpretive dance.
